AI Interview Practice
- Intermock provides simulated interview practice only. It is not a real interview, hiring process, recruitment screen, or employment decision.
- When you start a voice session, your browser captures microphone audio with your permission and streams it in real time to the AI service that powers the conversation.
- We do not store audio recordings. We do store text transcripts, questions, scores, reports, session metadata, and related billing or credit events so you can review your debrief and manage your account.
- AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, unfair, or unsuitable for your situation. You should treat feedback as practice guidance, not professional, career, recruitment, legal, financial, or employment advice.
- Do not submit special-category personal data, confidential employer information, non-public job descriptions, trade secrets, or anything you are not allowed to share.
Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with processors and service providers where needed to operate Intermock.
- Authentication and user management providers, including Clerk.
- Payment and subscription providers, including Stripe.
- Cloud hosting, storage, database, queueing, logging, and infrastructure providers, including Microsoft Azure where configured.
- AI model and live voice providers used to run interviews, parse CVs, generate role profiles, score sessions, and produce reports.
- Professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
- Potential buyers, investors, or successors if we restructure, merge, sell, or transfer all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
International Transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where this happens, we use lawful transfer mechanisms such as adequacy regulations or decisions, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful safeguard.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law, accounting rules, dispute handling, security, fraud prevention, or enforcement of our terms.
- Account, profile, interview, transcript, report, saved-job, and generated-question data is generally kept while your account is active or until you delete it using available privacy controls.
- CV files and parsed CV data can be deleted from your profile controls.
- Live interview audio is not stored by Intermock as an audio recording.
- Billing, subscription, credit ledger, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and audit records may be retained or anonymized where deletion is not appropriate or legally required.
- Queued account-data deletion currently covers Intermock-owned data. Billing and audit rows are anonymized where needed, and Clerk identity deletion is not part of the current in-product deletion flow.
Your Controls and Rights
Your account profile includes controls to clear parsed CV data, prep context, LinkedIn URL, saved jobs, generated questions, CV files, and some interview session data. You can also queue full Intermock account-data deletion, subject to active subscription and legal or operational limits.
Depending on where you live and which legal basis applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or port your personal data. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time. You have the right to object to direct marketing at any time.
To exercise rights or ask a privacy question, contact contact@intermock.ai. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

If a state privacy law applies to your use of Intermock, you may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising, limit certain sensitive data uses, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. Intermock does not sell personal data. Contact us using the email above to make a request.

No internet service can guarantee perfect security. Keep your account credentials safe and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
