Terms of Service
Last updated: 19/06/2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of intermock.ai and the Intermock interview-practice service. Intermock is owned and operated by Elfoworks Ltd.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Intermock, creating an account, starting an interview, uploading a CV, generating a role profile, buying credits, or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Intermock.
2. The Service
Intermock provides AI-powered, voice-based mock interview practice for job seekers and related tools such as role-profile generation, saved jobs, generated questions, transcripts, reports, scores, and feedback.
- Intermock is for practice, education, and self-improvement only.
- Intermock is not a real job interview, hiring process, recruitment service, employment agency, or applicant-screening tool.
- Reports, scores, feedback, and generated questions do not guarantee, predict, or influence employment, hiring, academic, immigration, or other outcomes.
- We may add, remove, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share, sell, transfer, or provide access to your account except where we expressly allow it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create risk, or are used fraudulently or unlawfully.
4. Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use Intermock. If you are under 18, you may use Intermock only with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required by law.
5. Your Content
Your content includes CVs, LinkedIn URLs, preparation notes, job descriptions, role details, spoken answers, transcripts, saved jobs, prompts, uploaded files, and anything else you submit to Intermock.
- You are responsible for your content and must have the right to submit and use it.
- You must not submit unlawful content, malware, confidential third-party material, trade secrets, non-public employer information, or content that infringes another person's rights.
- You must not submit special-category or sensitive personal data unless strictly necessary and lawful for you to do so.
- You grant Elfoworks Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, display, and create outputs from your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve Intermock and enforce these Terms.
6. AI Output
Intermock uses AI systems. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased, irrelevant, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any questions, reports, scores, feedback, or other output.
- AI output is not professional, career, recruitment, employment, legal, financial, medical, immigration, or other regulated advice.
- You should not rely on Intermock as your sole source of truth for interview preparation, career decisions, or job-search strategy.
- We do not guarantee that AI output will be unique, accurate, available, or free from third-party rights issues.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of output is lawful and does not infringe any third-party rights.
7. Voice Interviews and Microphone Use
- Voice interviews require microphone access. By starting a session, you authorise your browser to capture your speech and stream it to our live AI provider so the interview can run.
- Intermock does not record or store audio recordings, but stores text transcripts, session metadata, questions, reports, scores, and billing or credit events.
- You are responsible for using Intermock in a suitable private environment and for not capturing another person's voice without their permission.
- The live interview may mishear, interrupt, ask unsuitable questions, fail, or become unavailable. Use it at your own risk.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not use Intermock to:
- break the law, infringe rights, harass, abuse, threaten, defame, or discriminate;
- submit malicious code, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with the service, or bypass security or rate limits;
- scrape, crawl, overload, benchmark, resell, reverse engineer, or build a competing service using Intermock except where law expressly permits it;
- create multiple accounts to evade limits, gain extra free credits, abuse refunds, or bypass enforcement;
- attempt to extract system prompts, provider credentials, hidden instructions, model internals, or non-public product information;
- use Intermock to make real hiring, screening, employment, credit, insurance, housing, legal, medical, or similarly significant decisions about another person;
- misrepresent Intermock output as a certification, qualification, official assessment, or employer endorsement.
9. Credits, Plans, and Billing
Some features require credits or an eligible paid plan. Prices, plan contents, credit costs, included allowances, expiry periods, and feature availability may change prospectively.
- Credits are a digital entitlement for use only on Intermock. They have no cash value, are not legal tender, and are not transferable between accounts.
- A credit may be consumed when you start a credit-gated feature, such as an interview session or role-profile generation.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
- You authorise us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for purchases, renewals, taxes, and applicable fees.
- Failed payment may result in suspension, downgrade, or loss of access to paid features.
- Billing is processed by Stripe and may also be subject to Stripe's terms and policies.
10. Refunds and Cancellations
Unless required by law, consumed credits are non-refundable because the digital service has started or been supplied. Unused paid credits may be refunded within 5 days of the original purchase if no credit from that purchase has been consumed.
- You may cancel a subscription through the billing portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless we state otherwise.
- Renewal payments are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law or where we charged you in error.
- We may refuse or limit refunds where we reasonably suspect abuse, fraud, multiple-account misuse, chargeback abuse, prohibited use, or breach of these Terms.
- We may, at our discretion, return a credit where an interview ends very shortly after starting. Repeated early exits or patterns we consider abusive may lead to restrictions.
- Nothing in this section limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited, including rights under applicable UK consumer law.
11. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using Intermock, you acknowledge that you have read it.
12. Intellectual Property
Intermock, its software, design, branding, interfaces, documentation, prompts, workflows, and non-user content are owned by Elfoworks Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Intermock for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
You retain rights you have in your content. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use your own Intermock reports and feedback for personal interview preparation.
13. Third-Party Services
Intermock depends on third-party services for authentication, payments, AI processing, live voice, hosting, storage, networking, logging, and other infrastructure. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their outages, errors, policy changes, or separate terms.
14. Availability and Changes
Intermock is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available in every location. We may perform maintenance, introduce limits, change providers, or remove features.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intermock and all outputs are provided without warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elfoworks Ltd and its directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, employment outcome, or business interruption arising from or related to Intermock or these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from or related to Intermock or these Terms is limited to the greater of £100 or the amount you paid to Intermock in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
17. Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elfoworks Ltd, its directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and suppliers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of Intermock, your breach of these Terms, your misuse of AI output, or your infringement of another person's rights.
18. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk, misuse the service, fail to pay, abuse refunds or credits, infringe rights, or if we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable, we will give notice, but urgent security, legal, fraud, or abuse situations may require immediate action.
On termination, your right to use Intermock ends immediately. Sections intended to survive, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute terms, and privacy-related provisions, will survive.
19. Electronic Communications
You agree that we may send service, account, billing, legal, and transactional notices electronically. Marketing communications, where sent, will include an available opt-out where required by law.
20. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including failures of third-party providers, outages, cyberattacks, labour disputes, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government action, changes in law, or telecommunications, utility, or internet failures.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms take effect when posted unless we state otherwise. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users where appropriate. Your continued use of Intermock after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
22. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from or related to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts where applicable consumer law allows.
23. Contact
Questions about these Terms should be sent to contact@intermock.ai.
